Today we would like to tell you more about the packaging materials which we use and where do they come from. We would also like to share the fantastic news of a very exciting exciting eco partnership initiative which we are proud to participate in!
Packaging the eco-way
At Organique, all of our packaging is FSC-certified, meaning that it supports the sustainable harvesting and distribution of packaging materials, ensuring everything is responsibly sourced, achieving the highest standard of ethical production. FSC-certified label is a guarantee for our customers of responsible forest management, wildlife protection as well as protection of the well-being and working conditions of all people involved in the production processes, including local people.

The tissue paper for the packaging along with the stickers is produced using a wood pulp, also sustainably harvested with certification from the FSC. Each Organic package contains a sticker, a wrap paper as well as a thank you note from us, expressing the appreciation of your purchase. As for the bag in which we send our parcels, we utilize a Compostable Mailer which constitutes a great alternative to plastic poly mailers! Certified compostable, the mailer will break down in home compost in 180 days or in commercial compost in 90 days. Not only is it durable, but also plant-based.
At Organique, we source our packaging from Noissue, a company with a mission to support and empower the shift to sustainable business practices by building a community that can be better together. The company was founded to provide makers, brands and businesses of all sizes access to custom, sustainable packaging. As a result, we are a member of the Eco Packaging Alliance meaning that for every order that is made, one tree is planted in areas of need, contributing to the global reforestation program and helping the environment. So far, the program has resulted in over 43 thousand trees being planted and we are dedicated to making this number grow even more!
